Matt Rickard is a podcaster, author, filmmaker, and social entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling, sustainability, and creating meaningful connections. With over two decades of experience in sales and marketing, Matt has worked with businesses to drive growth, build partnerships, and lead teams across multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
He is currently helping Biochar Life scale its operations, bringing carbon removal solutions to global markets while supporting smallholder farmers in Africa and Asia. In addition to his work with Biochar Life, Matt provides marketing consulting services to organizations focused on social and environmental impact.
Matt’s work centers on telling stories that lead to action — whether through podcast conversations, film projects, or social enterprises. His career has taken him from developing sales strategies for global companies to mentoring startups and even stepping behind the camera as a filmmaker.
